Haruna Paragliding Park is located on the side of Mount Haruna. No advance experience is required to try out this exhilarating activity. A short lesson at the clubhouse where you are strapped into a swing hung from the ceiling is all that is required. No special gear is required but you should dress normally and wear long pants. Once you are finished the initiation lesson, you are driven up to the starting point, which is located 320 meters above the landing area. You will be strapped in front of your instructor and parachute and are ready for your tandem jump. In the air you will circle the area, and if the winds are good you will get high enough to rise above Lake Haruna and have a magnificent 360 panoramic view all around you.

The instructor will take care of you all the way, and all that is required of you is a simple running action, when you are coming into land. Guaranteed that once you do this, you will want to go straight back up again for another jump. Morning hours are ideal on any day of the week before the winds get stronger.
